the mighty Brahmaputra and the Barak river valleys and the imposing Karbi
Anglong and the North Cachar Hills. Flanked by Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan
in the east and north, its southern part is bordered by the Manipur, Mizoram
and Nagaland.
