Recommended Itineraries
If You Have 1 Day
Start your day early in the morning and head towards the walled city, Old Delhi to see the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandani Chowk. Next, visit the Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru. In the afternoon, visit India Gate, Rasthrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and Humayun's Tomb. In the evening, if you are left with sometime, either visit Qutub Minar or go for a bit of shopping in the Connaught Place and Janpath. For covering all these tourist attraction in 1 day, the best way for you is to hire a car, taxi or a tourist bus and a guide for the whole day.

If You Have 2 Days
Day 1 : After breakfast, visit Old Delhi where you will see major attractions such as Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Also, do some shopping in the famous Chandani Chowk market. Head next to Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi. Shanti Vana - the cremation site of Jawahar Lal Nehru lies adjacent to Raj Ghat. Next, visit Jantar Mantar and enjoy shopping in Janpath and Connaught Place market. Further, move towards historic site India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament House. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : This day in the morning visit the Old Fort, apart from a wondeful sighting you can also enjoy boating in the lake. Humayun's Tomb and Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah are other destinations which you can visit after Old Fort. Afternoon, visit the Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple and Qutab Minar. In the evening explore the markets of Delhi where you can buy a range of items.

If You Have 3 Days
If you are on a 3 day trip to Delhi, you can spend first 2 day as above mentioned itinerary.

Day 3 : On Day 3, you may visit the Amusement park, Appu Ghar where a wide range of fun-filled activities are waiting for you. Visit the India Gate in the evening for passing a wonderful time amidst beautiful surroundings or watch the sound and light show organized daily at Old Fort and Red Fort. Shopping is also a good option for you today.

If You Have 5 Days

Day 4 : Any trip to Delhi is incomplete without tasting the ethnic cuisine of the city. As the city was ruled by the Mughals for centuries, so Mughlai cuisine is the specialty of Delhi. Kareem's in Old Delhi is the famous restaurant where you can savour Mughlai cuisine including the delicious Kababs. For enjoying the sweets visit the Bengali market, Nathu's and Aggarwal outlets across the city are also noted for sweets. If you want to regional foods of India Delhi Haat is the perfect place for you. After enjoying variety of cuisine, go on a sightseeing trip of the city. Day 5 : If you are on a 5 day trip of Delhi, you will surely want to spend an entire day in shopping.
