Bogmalo Beach

Location of Beach
Bogmalo is located in Mormugao Taluka, just 4 kms south of Dabolim airport
and 10 kms from Vasco da Gama city.

An amazing blend of tranquility and modernization, sprinkled with natural beauty, Bogmalo is the place where you can gracefully lose yourself. With pictursque green hills on its three sides, grainy golden sand and fine surf, Bogmalo will provide you an experience decidedly different from other Goan beaches. If you are taking an early morning flight from the Dabolim airport, Bogmalo is a nice place to spend your night. And, if your flight is in the late afternoon then Bogmalo is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxed lunch by the cool blue sea.
Formerly a fishing village, Bogmalo has now become one of Goa's most attractive beaches. One of the least crowded Goan beaches, Bogmalo is clean, outstretched, flat and open. Despite cluster of beach shack restaurants and modern hi-tech shops selling handicrafts in its vicinity, Bogmalo will mesmerize you with its unique charm.

Bogmalo diving school offers courses in casual diving as well as PADI open water. The school will also give you a certificate permitting you to dive anywhere around the world.

Beyond it, a path will take you up the hill to a view-point, where you can get excellent view of the surroundings. In the middle of the island is a old spring, still used by the local people for their drinking water.
