the world's only Four-horned Antelope, the rare Boralia species, Chowsingha,
Blackbucks, Dugong, Nilgai, Jackals etc. The Asiatic Lion is found only in
the Gir forests and the Wild Ass is found only in the Rann of Kutch. You can
also see a large number of bird species, including both resident and
migratory birds. Popular avian species which you can spot here are Saras
cranes, Peacocks, Flamingos, Garden and Woodland birds etc. Besides, the
Great Indian Bustard, one of the most threatened birds is found in the
certain pockets of the protected areas of Gujarat.
