Jeep Safari from Rohtang Pass to Leh : Set at an altitude of 3,980 mts above sea level, the Rohtang Pass - Leh route provides a wonderful base for undertaking Jeep Safari trip. For this tour you have to start your journey from Baralacha Pass, enroute you will see amazingly sprawling plain areas of Sarchu and spend a night in tented camps of the region.

Next, you will cross several small places before passing Taklang La pass Taglangla (5,330 mts) to reach Rumtse and Gya village. Further, undertake an hour drive from Rumtse to reach Upshi where you will cross the Indus river. Reach Indus valley which is dotted with beautiful villages on its bank and lovely monasteries on hill side. Your journey finishes at Leh making your jeep safari a memorable experience.

Pangong LakeJeep Safari from Leh to Pangong Lake : Jeep Safari from Leh to Pangong Lake covers a total distance of around 160 kms. Your drive begins with picture-perfect view of Thiksey monastery, known for its architectural significance and similarities with Potala Palace of Lhasa. Thiksey monastery sprawls over an entire mountain ridge. Further from it, you drive towards Changla Pass and leave the Leh-Manali road on your right hand side.

After a drive on winding roads, reach Changla Pass, stop here for some time and drive down to Tangste village where you can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. Next, leave Tangtse village for Pangong Lake, in your drive, you will pass through several small villages of Changthang region.

Reach the picturesque Pangong Lake which is flanked by lofty multi-coloured mountains and their reflection provides the lake a fantastic sight. On the whole, the magnificent view of the colourful mountains and beautiful Changla Pass makes your journey a lifetime experience.

Jeep Safari from Leh to Tsomoriri Lake : A 240 kms journey, Jeep Safari from Leh to Tsomoriri Lake passes through Shey, Thiksey, Upshi and a number of small villages on the banks of the Indus river. As you drive around 100 kms away from Leh, you reach the mesmerizing hot water spring at Chumathang (3,965 mts). You can take bath in this hot water spring and relax for few hours.

Further, after a drive on one hour you will pass the Maya Bridge and reach Tsomoriri (4,550 mts) through Puga village. Whole day free for walking tour of Tsomiriri Lake and nearby areas including a visit to the popular Karzok monastery and Nomad Camp. From Tsomoriri Lake you may also take a drive to Manali via Tsokar Lake and Sarchu.

Jeep Safari from Leh to Nubra Valley : Nubra is located 120 kms north of Leh across the Khardung La (18,380 ft). Leh to Nubra Valley takes you through Khardung La Pass which is around 40 kms from Leh. Main attractions of this route are Khardung-La Pass (world’s highest motorable road), the Bactarian Camels (Double Humped Camels) and the monasteries such as Deskit and Samstaling.
