Situated
across 25 acres of landscaped land, the Marari Beach Resort is separated
from the sea by a windbreak of stretching coconut palm groves. Built in the
style of a traditional fishing village of Kerala, the resort has thatched
villas that have been designed to match the local village style.
With its 52 cottages, the Marari Beach Resort offers the traditional Kerala
hospitality at its best. The cottages are separated from each other by the
stretches of open parkland, dotted with fruit-laden trees.
Originally a small fishing village, Marari still goes on the same pace as
it was hundred year ago. In fact, the Marari Beach is not the place for a
noisy beach holiday, there are no rave parties here, no noisy water boats,
no seller of trinkets. But if you want to remove the stresses of busy city

Accommodation
For accommodation, the resort offers spacious villas, all air-conditioned,
double bedded with elegantly furnished veranda. The bathrooms are spacious
built in traditional Kerala style, with an open-air courtyard. All villas
have a small private garden area and offers best of modern amenities. The
Deluxe villas have a private sitting area which can accommodate extra two
persons. A typical cottage of the resort looks almost similar to a
fisherman's hut, which has the palm thatch plunging over an elevated
veranda. The interiors of the villas is marked by simplicity and harmony,
but it contain all the comforts of a modern resort.
