Accommodation
Spice village offers 52 tastefully appointed cottages to its guests that
include 5 suites. Cottages are available in two options - Private Garden
Cottages and Spice Garden Cottages. The architecture of cottages is inspired
by the native tribes of Periyar, Ooralie and Mannans who used to live in
similar jungle dwellings. Even today, these tribes carry on their age old
practices of herding and bee-keeping and they live in tree houses with a
distinct grey thatch. During your stay at the Spice Village, you can see the
tribal influence in your own cottage, which is made with brick, split bamboo
and elephant-grass design. Besides, all the cottages are equipped with
modern amenities to provide you luxurious comfort.
