Description : Lalgarh Palace is an architectural marvel that was
built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the memory of his father Maharaja Lal
Singh. This palace was built in the year 1902 and like many popular
buildings features a fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European style of
building. The principal face of the building is marked by red sandstone. A
part of the original palace has been converted into a palace hotel. The
hotel is managed by the Welcome Group, who in their turn have made some nice
renovations.
Facilities and Services : Lalgarh Palace Hotel provides spacious
rooms with all modern comforts and luxuries. There are 50 rooms in total,
two large halls that can accommodate 150 and 500 persons, restaurant serving
Rajasthani, Indian, Chinese and Continental food, room services,
recreational facilities and provisions for a number of activities, including
camel safari and art performances.
