Sher Bagh Resort, an eco-friendly luxury resort is situated on the edge of
the Ranthambore National Park, amidst the lush forests overlooking a scenic
valley. Built at the beginning of the 20th century for the Maharaja of
Jodhpur, Sher Bagh is country’s first resort with tented camps,
incorporated in July 2000 as a private limited company to promote
eco-friendly tourism. With a series of tented camps set in a private land,
Sher Bagh Resort works to achieve the ecological balance between man and
nature.
While you are in Sher Bagh Resort, you can enjoy jungle safari trips to the
Ranthambore National Park where you can spot variety of wild animals living

Accommodation
Sher Bagh Resort offers fine accommodation in its 12 luxury tents with
attached bathrooms and verandahs. Originally established for hunting trips
of the Maharaja of Jodhpur, these tents are now operational as a place of
accommodation for tourist visiting the Ranthambore National Park. The tents
are custom made, raised on a concrete plinth, aesthetically decorated and
have huge beds, nicely carved wooden chests and antique furniture. Besides,
all the tents are equipped with modern amenities, which provide you comforts
of a luxury hotel room.
