Day 1 : Arrive Chennai
On arrival to Chennai airport, you will be received by our representatives.
After meeting and assistance you will be shifted to your hotel room. There
are no immediate exercises or events and you can relax in your hotel room.
Evening you may go for sightseeing tour of Chennai city.
Day 2 : Chennai - Covelong
On day two after breakfast travel to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram, regions
located around Chennai.The places houses some interesting historic and
pilgrim sites. Spend the whole day exploring the temples and caves, known
throughout the region. At evening drive to Covelong, on arrival check into
Fisherman's Cove Beach Resort.
Overnight : At Fisherman's Cove Beach Resort.
Day 3 : Covelong - Pondicherry
After spending a good night at the resort in the morning drive to
Pondicherry. The famous Auroville village, based on Utopian
experimental-living, lies en route to the popular city, Pondicherry.
Overnight : At hotel in Pondicherry.
Day 4 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur (Tanjore)
On day 4 you will explore Pondicherry, known for distinct cultural and
historical places. You will be assisted by a professional guide. There is a
morning drive along the Coromandel coast line into the Chola heartland to
Tanjore. The journey refreshes the memories that lies buried here. Also

Day 5 : Tanjore - Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) - Madurai

Day 6 : Madurai - Periyar
On day six morning is devoted to the sightseeing tour of Madurai. After
passing few hours at Madurai drive to Periyar. The drive through the market
towns of Periyar makes the evening pleasurable. At Spice Village one can

Day 7 : Sightseeing tour of Periyar
Day seven is meant for full-day sightseeing tour of Periyar. In the morning
we will proceed on a pleasant walk through the spice plantations and the
thick forest. Afternoon we will go for a boat cruise along the Periyar Lake.
A visit to the renowned Periyar National Park will surely brighten the
things, in the evening. With the presence of naturalists all your queries

Day 8 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Following breakfast in the morning drive to Kumarakom. Spend whole day at
the imposing backwater region of Kerala. There will be brief exploratory
trips but no cruises.

Day 9 : Kumarakom
On day 9 Kumarakom Boat cruises are arranged for the day. While floating
across Kumarakom backwaters see some exotic birds variety.
Overnight : At Kumarakom.
Day 10 : Kumarakom - Cochin
Cruise through the backwater stretches and reach the popular destination of
Alappuzha. The boat cruise is one sure way to get going during the tour.
From Alappuzha or Alleppey drive to Cochin, better known as 'Venice of the
East'. Afternoon devoted to leisure. In the evening watch a spectacular
performance of Kathakali - famous dance form of Kerala.
Day 11 : Cochin Departure
Last day of your tour starts with sightseeing of Cochin city. At afternoon
you will be accompanied to airport, for boarding an onward flight.
